A Milestone Project for Michels & Taylor
The first Six Senses hotel in the UK has officially opened its doors in Bayswater.
April 2026
Michels & Taylor (M&T) is celebrating the opening of Six Senses London at the beautifully reimagined Whiteley’s in Bayswater, marking an exciting new chapter for the iconic landmark and the first Six Senses property in the United Kingdom. Congratulations go to the ownership, development and brand teams whose vision and commitment have transformed the historic building into one of London’s most anticipated luxury hotel destinations.
The M&T team supported the project throughout its journey from construction to opening, providing property services across the development lifecycle and working closely with ownership and brand partners during the critical pre-opening phase. This included supporting the recruitment of the commercial leadership team and helping deliver key operational preparations to ensure the hotel was ready to welcome its first guests.
Our Finance team also worked alongside the Six Senses brand to support UK financial compliance and ensure the right structures were in place ahead of launch. For everyone involved in the project, seeing Whiteley’s evolve from building site to a beautifully realised luxury hotel is a proud milestone and a testament to the collaboration behind this remarkable opening.
