Sustainability in action: how we’ve saved 2 tonnes of plastic waste 

At DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a commitment we live by every day. Since introducing our large-format toiletry bottles, we’ve proudly diverted over 2,100 kg of plastic waste from landfills, contributing to a total of 2.3 tonnes of soap and plastic collected through our partnership with Clean the World.

This initiative has helped us support the creation of 4,450 bars of recycled soap, 51 hygiene kits, and a reduction of 301 kg of CO₂ emissions. Even more importantly, our efforts have supported 458 people, including 131 refugees, with access to essential hygiene resources and over 6,000 litres of water saved.
