Hotel Indigo Exeter becomes a new addition to our portfolio
We are delighted to welcome the distinguished Hotel Indigo Exeter to our expanding portfolio.
November 2024
The hotel has been acquired by CDL Hospitality Trusts (“CDLHT”) and whilst M&T has supported CDLHT previously through its Advisory and Asset Management businesses, this is M&T’s first full management contract with CDLHT.
The freehold property is an upscale lifestyle boutique hotel offering 104 rooms, with luxurious spa and gym facilities as well as two retail units. The Property is situated on the doorstep of the main retail High Street, the Princesshay Shopping Centre, which is the pre-eminent shopping destination in Exeter and attracts significant footfall. It is also close to the commercial district, major transport nodes and iconic attractions.
Hugh Taylor OBE, CEO of Michels & Taylor comments:
“We are delighted to add this wonderful hotel to the M&T management portfolio. CDLHT has been a valued client of M&T Advisory for many years and we are absolutely delighted to now extend our relationship with our first full hotel management agreement. The Hotel Indigo Exeter is a fantastic asset in an enviable position in the heart of Exeter and with this agreement, we are looking forward to further strengthening our relationship with our friends at CDLHT over the coming years”.
Mr Vincent Yeo, CEO of CDLHT’s Managers, comments:
“We are pleased to have our valued partner, Michels & Taylor on board as our hotel operator as we expand our UK presence to Exeter.
